WHAT'S NEW:

LAUSD Board Seat #7 has been forced into a runoff between Dr. Richard Vladovic and Neal Kleiner. The election will be held May 15, 2007. Make sure to get out and vote.

The LAUSD Facilities Department and Rod Hamilton have announced that High School Site #13 South located directly on the Alameda Corridor has been abandoned do to Health and Environmental factors. The LAUSD will be presenting an alternative site to the Facilities Board on Thursday April 12 at 9 AM. This site will then be voted on by the Full Board of Education on April 24, 2007 at 10 AM.

Make your voices heard!!

The most important effort that you can make is to get out and vote on May 15, 2007. The race for LAUSD Seat #7 is a run-off Between former Superintendent Richard Vladivic and Former School Principal Neal Kliener. Also, become aware and engaged to the actions of the LAUSD Staff, and find out where they are looking to build a school. Make sure to attend all Community Meetings
